Hi - Is there some sort of double ended screw/plug that i can wang into the old hydraulic cable and then new one so when I pull out the old one the new one replaces it?

(I am aware that I may get some silly answers)

A cut off nail worked for me.

If it's the hydrolic hose for a reverb then the original bag of bits it came with has just such a doofer: red barbed thingy.

Otherwise tiny screw with head removed backed up by tape.

Thanks all. The screw with head cut off did the trick.
