After not realising that I'd also lunched my freehub when the axle broke in my rear Hope XC hub, and grinding another spacer to death, I thought I'd just get a new freehub and spacer and all would be happy... but no, it seems I'm a little behind the times and cc freehubs don't exist any more...
So, aside from getting a shim made for the inside of the freehub to stop the pawls wearing through the spacer, does anyone know if the Pro 2 freehub fits?
Or am I now looking at retiring this hub...
Ebay for an old hub?
Nope. New hub time I'm afraid.
Stick the old one on eBay if the drive ring is in good condition as that always used to be the hard to fix bit.
I had a feeling that might be the case...
I had a look-see for second hand xc hubs, but they seem to go the same now as they did back when I bought these ones!
Might have to try bodging something before spending too much money...

I have a rear hope xc hub (well a whole wheelset actually) sat in the garage that I've been meaning to do something with. The hub shell has cracked but the internals were ok last time I checked.
