I've sent something back to Hope, tracking says they signed for it early Wednesday morning but not had any emails so far, do they just sort it and send it back or keep you informed.
Not done it for years, but was always zero comms and magically returned fixed within a week (inside and outside of warranty).
Hope are a bit like that. They don't seem to like communication, they just crack on and get it done.
Don't ask for anything not on the menu as you'll probably just get the standard brekkie anyway. But its a good brekkie!
Knowing Hope's efficiency on this kind of stuff it's probably in the post on it's way back to you already. Haven't sent anything for warranty for years (last one was a disc that was cut oddly, arrived with them on the Tuesday and Wednesday morning the new one was on my doorstep!) but when I sent my brakes for a service I paid for the work on Thursday at 4pm and Saturday morning the postie was knocking on my door.
Thanks for the replies, might arrive tomorrow then Hopefully, pun intended.
I had a set of lights that failed, phone call, couple of emails and a new light turned up a few days later. In Sweden, i hadn't even sent the failed set back yet, they told me not to bother. They were 6 or 7 years old.
Then my wifes failed a couple of years later, also extensively out of warranty, had to send them back to be repaired, cost me about 50 quid all in, 25 of that was for recorded delivery.
Admittedly, this was all 10+ years ago, but made me happy at the time.
You'll simply get a fed ex notification on the day there dispatched
