Must be self contained, ideally usb Rechargeable, wider beam than a vision one, 2hour ride time,I like the look of the Specialized stix, but I need something suitable for off road work too, any recvomendations?

moon on stick.

Run time is easy, Lezyne and Exposure both come to mind. Multi role is problematic though. Ideally you want different beam patterns for road and off road. Road patterns aren’t great in the trails and in the hills, off road patterns risk dazzling other road users.

I run a Hope R8 on my bikes. On the road it is angled down a bit more than on the MTB. I never get flashed by cars so it must be OK. I seldom use it in anything other than the lowest setting on the road.

Ordered one of the Lezyne Micro 500s yesterday - £36 @CRC -

If my Hope Vision 2 is anything to go by (which is dim compared to a 150lm Xeccon light), this will blast a Vision1 out of the (preverbial) water. Used to use the Vision 2 off road, 500LM is plenty really.
