Has anyone managed to find/bodge a quick release bracket for the old (2007/8?) style Hope vision 2 light:

I vaguely remember someone saying they'd done it though can't find any info.
I sent one of ours back for a repair to the wiring, and it came back with the newer quick-release style bracket, with a plastic qr lever. Why not ring Hope and ask them to send you one? Even if there is a charge, I doubt it is all that much.
What Hope need to do is build a QR that allows you to quickly change from helmet to handlebar mount.
