Cycle to work scheme deadline fast approaching....
I started looking at vision 1 to extend the time i can commute to work on national cycle route / woodland track / fast singletrack beyond just british summer time. Then I decided vision 2 would be more apt and might allow me to try Sherwood pines at night in to the bargain.
A further jump in price takes me to the v4s - is this going to be overkill ?
I commute at about 18mph average, if any of these lights are going to make me slow down drastically, they're not worth my money.
Any thoughts (v1 / v2 / v4 users ) ?
For commuting in winter I use a V2 and a V4, 4 on the bars and the 2 on my helmet, the 4 would probably be ok I had no probs through the woods and singletrack on my commute, the 2 adds a more direct beam which I found made the trails look a lot clearer following my gaze direction. A 2 on it's own you may find a little restricted as far as your field of vision goes, probably will slow your average speed.
