Whilst out and about in the alps I rode from Tignes over to vals d isire to watch the world cup, and happened to brake a spoke. No worries I thought, the massive Mavic truck would help a stranded rider, how wrong could I be, the 4 peeps just sat there and basically told me to buggar off as they only helped sponsored riders! Thankfully I found the Hope truck who managed to find a spoke for me (they don't usually carry them) and the lads at Unior tools borrowed me a spoke key so all was well and good, I even got a power link from SRAM as i managed to snap a chain too (one of those days). So top marks to Hope and Unicor, Zero to Mavic, and I'll never buy there rims again
