do / dont Hope manufacture a match maker to mount M985 XTR shifters to the tech Xs lever ?
their website only mentions older M970 compatability ....

Yes - tried that very combination just a few weeks back.
Thread title: 10 speed shifters & Hope Tech levers.
Slight rant - What I found was that it meant the shifter was too far inboard for me, as I run my brakes well 'in' and single finger brake.
I wish Hope would make a shorter lever blade for their Tech evo lever, to sort this issue - slight rant over.

I had the same issue with rch kvers and m970 shifters. Lovely clean lines but sat the shifter too far inboard when you set the brakes up for one finger at the end of the blade. I like the lever length but wish the direct mounts had more range. Still, it works perfectly with the old clamps back on, just doesn't look as pretty.

The XTR matchmaker bracket will fit any of the 10 speed I-spec mount shifters (XTR XT SLX). I ordered both shifter & matchmaker from a certain Irish on-line establishment, knowing they'd probably have to go back, which proved to be the case due to the reach issues stated previously.
