As above, anyone know what the differences between non-Evo & Evo Tech levers are?

yep, the Evo has a new design giving better leverage = more power (15% I think I remember). I have both types on different bikes and I know that everything is equal except for these levers - they're better, simple. Just as good at the whole modulation thing that Hope is so loved for though.

Someone said elsewhere that the lever cam is a different profile; would it be possible to swap this, or are the lever pivots points different in the Evo lever body?

I'm told the pivot point is different but I really struggle to see it. The roller on the cam is a big improvement though. They're also interchangeable.

I asked Hope about this specifically, they said it's not possible to swap the relevant parts between Evo and non-Evo Tech levers.

Really? I've done it. Fitted the new cam and roller in place of the standard tech cam that had a flat spot worn on it.

Fox also said it wasn't possible to reduce the travel on a 32 vanilla 140 but I did that as well, using standard fox parts. Just converted them back for a new frame.

Onza - be interested to know what bits are needed to upgrade the Tech lever to Evo Tech - just the cam or other bits needed?

Hbsp273 - 276 inclusive. 2 of each. The cam grub screw can be reused.

I'm not promising 15%. Hope claim that's due to a change in pivot location. The pivots are still in the same place.

Ah. Good point. Perhaps I'll not bother until I've worn my current levers a bit more then, they're still in pretty good nick.

Ta anyway!

They do feel better with the roller in though.
