As per title the piston has started sticking in when lever pressed, anybody else had this? Will I get away with ordering a piston or will I need more parts?

If not will a tech 3 lever work

Mine wasn't sticking but had a bit of stiction. I just dissembled that part of the lever, lubed up the piston seals, rebuilt it, bled it and that sorted it.

I've just had a look and it's getting worse. I had to bleed it the other week and what I thought was 5.1 fluid turns out to be rockshox hydraulic oil which I'm guessing has swelled all the seals, looks like a full rebuild so I will have to find a full kit............ That will teach me to concentrate a bit more

Mmm, That could be the problem. Probably best to swap out the calliper seals whilst your at it, or speak to Hope and ask them to rebuild/service it, I think it's about £40 and that includes pads.

Wow that's a good price, I'm in Canada though so will do it myself, parts are pretty cheap actually now I've managed to find them all
