Hi folks,
I want to run my Hope Tech E4's with an 11spd XT M8000 r/h shifter
Need to buy the shifter, what combo would work ?
I spec b / need a matchmaker clamp, whats flush/compatible etc?
Hope that makes sense
Cheers.

An aftermarket ispec b shifter will come with the necessary adaptor to fit the brake assuming it's a new tech e4 (I offer no assurance if there was an older lever style).

I have a XTR M9000 shifter mounted to my Tech 3 E4's using the hope matchmaker.

ISpec b will bolt straight on to the tech 3 lever.....but not with the iSpec b nut/bolt that comes with the shifter. You'll need one of these. https://www.merlincycles.com/hope-shifter-mount-bolt-for-i-spec-b-90999.html?utm_campaign=googlebase-GB&utm_source=googlebase&utm_medium=shopping&utm_term=MTB+Disc+Brake+Rotors+%26+Spares&ucpo=32149&gclid=CLbX5YLyztECFeUV0wod4iMLeQ
I got the same nut and bolt from a local hardware shop for 40p

The shifter should come with an ispec a adaptor that does the same job as the special hope bolt.

As above. As I understand it am ispec a shifter which I think the 8000 is will bolt straight on. I have 785 spec B and had to buy the little nuts and bolts from Merlin to mount them to my E4s.

You need the part shredder posted as m8000 XT is i-spec II.

The bolt that ispec A uses isn't long enough to use on the Tech 3 lever it's 12.5mm long whereas the Hope one i linked to is 16mm long

Edit. Rick XT M8000 is available in I-spec B as well

Old thread hijack!!!
Does this combo offer any vertical adjustment or is the shifter in a fixed distance from the brake lever?

No vertical adjustment, just side to side

I run hope tech 3 levers on both bikes. You need the Ispec a mounting kit. It came for free with the 10 speed XT M780 shifter on one bike but the M8000 shifter on the other bike didn't, meaning I had to buy the nut and bolt that Antares has linked to above.
