Because I’m a ham fisted gorilla, I’ve managed to snap one of my Hope Tech 2 lever clamps.
Because I’m also a massive tart the said brakes are the limited edition gold Tech 2 / X2 combo.
Because they are from 2009 Hope don’t have spares in any colour except silver.
Could one of you fine and splendid people do me a favour? Could an owner of some Tech 3 levers measure the hole centres to see if the Tech 3 is the same size as the Tech 2?
If the Tech 3 clamps are the same then I can be an even bigger tart and choose a complimentary and/or clashing colour. At the moment I’ve got a lever clamp off some 2008 mono minis, it fits, but it’s silver and it’s different to the other lever and it’s making my eyes itch.

I can tell you they arent.
Tech 2 is only tech 2 blades or T2 evo blades, tech 3 arent a fit at all.
I think you'll really struggle to find a gold replacement. Last gold tech 2 was a complete set sold for £114 a couple of weeks ago. But what you could do is try a forum where people are into anodising and the like and see if someone will do you a pair.
You'd probably have to strip the one you have and strip a new one(or ask them to do it) and get an approximate match that wont be exact, but will do the job best it can.
I'd someone do me Tech 2 blades/etc in purple, because theres no tech 2 at that point in purple, and hope swore they werent going to do them,. Then the buggers came out with purple blades. Damned annoying. I';d my ego busted there 🙁
I've compared mine and the tech 3 looks to be about 2mm bigger than my old tech 2's. It probably wouldn't be overly difficult to drill them out to get them to fit though.
I'd opt for black. Better than nowt.
I have some in black off the old flip flop tech Evo lever but they're I-spec b adapter ones.
