How long is the hose on a tech 3 e4 rear brake meant to be? I've just bought one and it's too short for my size large hardtail. Seems odd that I'd have to change the house on a new brakeset?

I have 3 pairs of e4 brakes and all went on either large or a large medium frame. All had to be cut down.
CRC is where I got it from. I thought 1700mm was about right. Having contacted them, CRC are sending me a new hose but it still means I'm going to have to bleed it fully. Bit annoying really.
CRC allow you to order Front Left, or Front right, or Rear Left or Rear Right.
Either you accidentally ordered the wrong side, or CRC sent you the wrong brake.
If you're happy bleeding them, then take the hose. If not, then just ask for a replacement.
Or save yourself the hassle of returning or bleeding the brake by buying an extra small frame.

I ordered both the front and rear. The front was fine at a metre long. It turns out the rear doesn't even have any oil in it. I assume someone has tampered with it and sent it back to CRC for a refund and it's gone back to stock without anyone checking. To be fair it'd be hard to notice. Anyway there's a new hose on its way and a 15 pound voucher so I'm happy enough.
