Just shortening the standard (non braided) hoses. It looks easy enough on the video. I have a fresh bottle of brake fluid, some plastic tubing, tools and a mile of kitchen roll
Any hints/tips before I start?
Cheers
you should be able to shorten the cables without having to bleed the brakes. justcheck the youtube video. 🙂
When I did mine they initially felt like they needed bleeding, when I cam back to them and gave them a pump they firmed up perfect, I think this is helped by the hose being on an angle.
I swapped them I another bike and needed a longer hose, they bled by open-pump-lock without any trouble.
