Anyone tried both 40t rings? Any preference?

Not tried both but my 40t one up with the rad cage is amazing easy smooth changing and would never change to anything else. I use a 34t up front

Again not tried the One Up as the hope works perfectly, Sram X9 rear with Hope 34t retainer up front. Moved the cranks spacers over to get a better chain line.

They both seem much the same but I'd still go with OneUp for being first to market and making the idea work, rather than Hope for being first copy 😉

Ace components do one as well - a bit cheaper I think

The one up ships with a 16T as well.

Running two T-Rex's and both work faultlessly. Haven't tried a one up ring.

Been running the one up 42 tooth cog for a few months now, Initially the shifting wasnt as smooth as I would have liked, but that turned out to be because of old cable/outers, once I'd put new cables/outers on it shifts as smooth as OEM shimano.

Teeth were looking a bit worn at the weekend, but no sign of that manifesting itself as any sort of problem, will see how it goes.

I have two hopes which work perfectly.
And choose hope as, as far as I am aware are manufactured in the UK, so rather my money stayed in Britain.
