I am thinking of switching to grip shift this year, and speaking to some people who have run grip shift they said that you need to make sure your brake levers are long enough that they clear the grip shift.
So has anyone run xx1 grip shifters with Hope Stealth Evo x2 brakes, an do you have a problem reaching the levers
Not tried it but the hope tech lever is about the widest out there. I had to buy new bars when I upgraded my brakes.
I run XO trail brakes and XO gripshift. The supplied grip is normal width and far too long so I cut it by about 50% and have a lock-on between the gripshift and the grip. You need to do that to hold the gripshift together. It's ridiculous that you need to do this but it works and I wouldn't have it any other way 🙂
