I'm trying to swap over some wheels and have a set of Mavic Crossmax Enduro wheels but they had a Mavic XD driver on them and I need it to be Shimano.
I have a Hope Shimano freehub in the spares box - is it possible to just swap them over? If so, any tips on how to do this? The pawls are very different on the Mavic freehub v the Hope one.
Any advice would be great thanks.
I am afraid I think it would not be possible-the freehubs are too different.
You need a Mavic ITS-4 Shimano freehub. Might be worth seeing if anyone wants to swap?
Think this was a bad idea. We also forgot they have a 20mm font axle so I'll need new end caps too.

Those Mavic normally come with 20mm end caps included. They only cost a tenner or so if not
