Do I need to buy a kit to use the Goodridge hoses with Hope X2 race levers and calipers?
Or.. will the existing fittings fit? I remember something about the hose being 4mm for the X2, whereas it's 5mm for all other hoses....

Standard plastic hose is 5mm, Braided hose is 6mm.
If you have plastic hose and are upgrading to Goodridge braided hose you will need new connectors.
I was thinking of the plastic Goodridge hose....

All Tech calipers/levers use 5mm fittings. To the best of my knowledge, the Hope (braided) and Goodridge hoses are the same, so you can use either Hope or Goodridge fittings. If you use Hope fittings you'll need to trim the first 4-5cm of plastic coating from the braided hose.
