Hi, I am after a bit of advice with my Hope Pro 4 feehub microspline. There has been two occasions that the freehub has come away from the hub body and towards the frame. This has caused miss shifting and wear on my frame.

The second time I re seated the freehub seal and made sure it was full seated but has now done exactly the same and has come away from the hub shell.

Has anyone experienced this before or should I just ring Hope tomorrow?

Thanks and appreciate any help.

Did you buy the complete hub or upgrade to the microspline on an existing hub? If it's the latter, did you fit the correct end cap?

Is it a 12mm through axle hub?

Hi Onza.

Is there a microspline end cap?

From looking at the diagram above, I’d suggest checking the circlip is present and fitted properly in it’s groove.

If you're confident that the green seal is properly seated, and it's coming out again when ridden, I'd deffo give them a bell.

I had a seal that was slightly oversized and absolutely refused to seat. They sent me a replacement which went in first time and has stayed put.

it'll be the driveside spacer. If you have a non-microspline spacer (HG or XD) then the hub will still sit in the dropouts okay, but the spacer won't do its job of holding the freehub in place.
