Hi

Is a Pro 4 hub currently set for 12x150 axles easy to convert to 135 QR simply with me push in adapters or is it more complicated that that (e.g. Different hub shell or internals between the two)?

Ta, DanW

I recently converted a Pro2 Evo from 135 QR to 142x12 just by swapping the adapters so I'd be fairly confident you'll have no problem.

Isn't the actual shell of the 150mm hub different, wider, not just the axle and endcaps?

I'd check the disk mount spacing too as 150 may have a different standard.

Just received a very quick response from Hope to say the 150 has a wider shell so it's a no go to convert to anything else. There goes that potential evil bay bargain 🙂

150mm is like a 135mmx12 hub but wider, there's also 157 (through axle with a lip on it) which is a 150mm hub with "142" end caps.

ok, wasn't sure if it was a completely different hub or whether the adapters did the work, ta.
