After purchasing some second hand wheels the pro 2 evo front hub had the 15mm end caps on. I bought the 20mm ones I needed for my forks and popped the old ones out and the new ones in with the metal retaining circlip thingy. They seem a bit 'rattley' to me when the wheel is not in the forks. All seems fine when the wheel is on the bike I was just wondering if this is normal?

Cheers

Yes, it's normal for them to be a bit loose feeling, as you say they're solid enough once the axle is in and tightened.

Thanks for the info MG - Just wanted to make sure it wasn't just mine and this was normal.

They are just spacing the gap between hub and dropout - Maxle runs on the bearing directly in 20mm flavour
