I know pressft is normally a nighmare but how are people finding the hope press fit bottom bracket. At the moment I have 30mm cranks so would need to use the hope press fit without the screw in tube. Just wondering if people still have creaking problems or if if should swap to 24mm cranks and use their press fit with the screw in tube to join the two ends? Thanks for any advice.
I've not long fitted one into a carbon frame. No issues with creaking or anything like that.
However, on the second ride out was very muddy. Lightly hosed the bike down after. I then found the bearings were that rough and gritty. They were full of grit with minimal grease.
Flushed them out and repacked and they seem better since. I did email hope, but they weren't interested.
Is that the 30mm or 24mm?
Rotor also do a pressfit 41mm for a 30mm axle. Cheaper than the Hope BB too. CRC has them.
I've only used the Hope cups once before and didn't notice any difference between them and the Rotor cups, and the Rotor cups are clearly cheaper. Both versions didn't last that well though but it's because the bearings are pretty small IMO, rather than just being poorly made. It's the old ISIS problem really.
How has the rotor been. Any creaks of squeaks? Are bearings easy to replace / find
No squeaks
You can't replace the 'bearings' themselves on the 30mm PF41, as they are built into the cups. There's not enough space in there to have a separate, replaceable bearing and cup. It's too much of a squeeze. Just use and replace. The Rotor cups are £26 at CRC, so not much more than a Shimano pressfit.
{not that Shimano do a 30mm pressfit... I'm just comparing the pricing]

PF41 here in a carbon BB.
As the actual bearings in the hope can't be replaced I will be going to dub/ 24mm when they next need changing.
I really don't want to be pressing new cups into a carbon BB every time the bearings go. Shame as I love the RF Turbine crank set itself.
I've had both Rotor and Hope PF41 (30) bottom brackets. The Hope was nicer and more expensive.
Twice as good? Maybe not.
As with all bearings on a Mtb it’s a good idea to pop the seals off and pack with grease before using.
I also really like my turbine crank but not overly keen on BB swaps in a carbon frame every 9 months. I know the axle can be changed on a cinch crank but last time looked a 24mm on its own wasn’t far off the cost of a SLX crank!

Hmmmm.... Didn't realise I could swap the axle for 24mm!👍
I might look into that, medium term, as I really like the cinch system on the Turbines.
EDIT: You sue you can convert the Turbine to 24mm..... A bit of googling doesn't seem to show anything?
with 30mm aluminium axles you should be removing the crank periodically to check and grease anyway, to avoid a dry BB causing pitting and premature wear to where the bearings sit. That's what I do anyway with my RF SIXCs. Steel 24mm axles are harder and less susceptible to such things.
Turbine is 30mm only - you need a Aeffect if you want 24mm. For BBs Wheels Manufacturing - has decent external seals so you're not just relying on the bearing seals

I definitely found a 24mm cinch axle for sale when I last looked. I understand the cinch interface is universal. Maybe worth a quick email to silverfish?
Cinch is the name of the chainring interface, the crank-to-spindle interface seems to be specific to the diameter of the spindle. (i.e. spindles that contain X in their name are only compatible with Aeffect and Ride Cinch - linky)
