Do you need their special tool or can I just use my threaded bar and wood that I fit headsets with?
How easy is it to swap the bearings in it?

If it's the PF41 type, you'll need the tools as they screw together to pull themselves into the frame.

I've fitted them without the hope tool. They have a internal hex that needs tightening. I used a length of alloy flat bar filed to fit. And turned it with some knippex.the only need to be snug.
