Evening all

In need of some help please. I've got a 2018 YT capra, with a 30mm race face turbine cinch crankset.

It's a PF41 x 92mm Bottom bracket shell, so after doing some research on here and how little time the race face BB lasted, I opted for a Hope PF41 bottom bracket.

Anyway, hoping to ride the weekend, I've fitted the two bearings into the BB shell, and according to a Hope PDF I acquired, it just requires the two thin washers outside of each bearing for a 92mm bb shell..

When the cranks have been installed, there is a 3-4mm gap on the non drive side, which seems too much for me, this can only just about be taken out with the preload adjuster on the crank arm as there is only just enough threads.

Is this normal and acceptable?

Thanks alot guys.

I've got three bikes with Hope BSA30 bottom brackets and Cinch Turbine cranks. Each time I've added a couple of Wheels Manufacturing bottom bracket spacers - worked a treat.

Thanks so much guys for the quick replies. Massive help!

I've just stuck my chain back on, and it's catching on the e13 chain device when at the top of the eagle cassette, which it never did before... there is a 2.5mm spacer supplied, is it ok to fit this drive side then?

Thanks again

Did you put that under the bearing when installing in the frame mate? Or did it go on the outside?
