As above. I normally buy SS Kevlars but have been hugely unimpressed with the last batch I bought.
Not bothered about soft pads that have silly stopping power at the expense of having to change them more often...
What do people think? Hopes own pads?
SS Sintered always work for me. They can squeal but last ages. The springs are a bit pathetic and you don't get a pad pin, but they're very cheap.
Hope's have always been good, A2Z are very similar for performance and wear, but cheaper, and i've not heard any reports of failures either. We've been selling them as a decent alternative to own brand pads for a good few years now, with no problems at all.
I tried SS when tehy first came out and thought they were crap.
I've used Goodridge Sintered since and never had anything but great performance from them.
Brake Authority are OK, but I don't give the bike they are on as much punishment.
Heard good things about A2Zs actually so might give them a go...
