You don't need to be an 'investor' to invest in Singletrack: 6 days left: 95% of target - Find out more
Hi. Could do with a little clarification / confirmation after a few years away from the MTB and being more on the roadie side.
I need some new pads for my MTBs. One bike has some old Hope Mono M4s. The other has slightly more recent but still old Tech Evo M4s.
Looking online it would appear that recommended pads are M4/E4 compatible these days. You can't get the original M4 pad - HPSP141, but the E4 pad HBSP323 is for M4/E4.
Found a few threads on here saying they are a bit long and any kind of wear on your disks will mean only the bottom bit will contact with the disk? Is this true?
Any other options? OEM? Or just stop worrying. Just could do with some advice before I spend my hard earned!
TIA
Edit and boom - just found this down the page. Sorry
