Anyone know if I can get a matchmaker for a Tech 2 lever to either the I-Spec II or I-Spec B versions of the new XT shifter?
I'm thinking the existing Tech 2/i-Spec one should work with the I-Spec B, but can't be sure from the tech docs.
(Have emailed them, but obviously don't want to deny someone the opportunity to recommend that I use something else entirely)
Hi, I asked hope this same question re M8000 Ispec 11 shifter onto the 2 Evo levers. They said they dont do anything for the "old" levers.
Yeah, I don't expect I-Spec II will work, but I-Spec B is close enough to the ols I-Spec A that it should work.....
This is the XT I-Spec B 11 speed shifter - looks to me like it would work OK

I fitted my I spec 2 shifter with x2 brakes using the lockring off a lock on grip. Works great and cost nothing
@naff. Could you show me a pic of this so I can give it a go? I can't work out how you would do that..
