I’m after a set of Pro 4s, in unfashionable 135mm/100mm QR flavour. I managed to get a set of XC hubs via a classified wanted on on here but I need some more modern ones as well that can be converted.
Been looking to see if there are any shops with a 10% off first purchase but not had any luck on that either.

Forget it unless you find second hand. They can't make them quick enough and shops can't get them because demand is so high, so why on earth would they would give you a discount for your probable one time custom? Don't want to sound harsh but that's how it is at the minute.

Winstanleys seem to be the cheapest, but you'll be in for a wait.
What freehub are you using.

I was about to say Winstanleys seem to be cheapest with it being about £200 for both.
Activesport can also be at the cheaper end for Hope prices

looked into hubs recently - went with JRA hubs as they were cheaper than hope and I didn't care about the lack of bling. Remember you can change the end caps although that is a bigger expense.

I'd go for Superstar v6's, 25% off at the moment. Been using their headsets and hubs for over a year now, just as good as Hope and a lot less money. I was long time Hope user but they've priced themselves out of contention for me.

I’m sticking with Hope thanks, I’ve got a pair of Pro2s on my other bike that I bought when they first came out and I can still adapt them to current standards, they’ve lasted ages and are utterly reliable. Rather stick with a company that I’ll still be able to get spares with in a few years time.

The hubs I bought are bitex. They make 200,000 hubs a year. No issue with spare parts.

You’ll just have to suck up the cost for your hope hubs it would seem.

I'd stick with hope hubs, the vast majority of my riding crew have used predominantly hope hubs for over 10 years (black) and they are bombproof and go From frame to frame, worth every penny over Chinese hubs. Honourable mention for dt swiss 350's, once again bullet proof. Good thing with hope is if it's shits itself when your in morzine in the summer for example you'll have no problem getting fixed up.

I’m sure I have a 1 ride old Hope XC rear wheel on DT Swiss rim in the garage. I banjo the rim and they sent me a full replacement.

No idea what the hub is worth

Thanks. Already got a pair of XC hubs, but I need another pair I can swap to bolt through or something else at a later date for another bike, you can’t do that with XCs.
