1.The freehub on my xc hub is loose - won't fall off but there's play in it.
Took it all off and nothing obvious - tried a new end cap too.
2. Replaced outer bearings in pro2 rear hub and it freewheels ok but I can't backpedal - chain just wraps up.
Ideas on either anyone?

1.Worn spacer.
2.Missing spacer.
3. Snapped axle
Echo above re : spacer , Did you fit a new freewheel seal?, and is it seated correctly?.
Check the hope website for exploded diagrams to make sure you've not missed anything.
1. Worn freehub bearing with play in it would be my guess.
2. Missing or mixed up spacer.
He replaced the bearings in the freehub as well as the Hub bearings surely?.
1 free hub bearings?
2 spacer as previously mentioned or seal between free hub / hub.
2.1 hub bearing in squint or axle not fully home.

No mention of bearing replacement on the XC hub.
Freewheel bearings?
Had the back pedalling issue with seized jockey wheel bearings 💡
1. Worn bearings.
2. Too much grease around springsl/pawls or the seal isn't seated properly.
Cheers folks will pull apart tomorow.
Xc hub has had no work so something just worn then
ProII - will check seal and spacer. Only did hub bearings as they were rough as. Freehub bearings were good - no play, ran smooth
Reseated the seal and all is well with ProII.
XC hub another day
