Due to the rain i will be fitting my hope hoops with stans crest rims to my Stumpjumper but should i put the hope hoops stickers on them or not . They are black rims on a black hub on a black bike. Oh and do i need the spacer behind the cassette i used on my Mavic hubs ?

No stickers. Valve lined up with tyre name, that way it makes it quicker to locate the valve 🙂

Good luck fitting the tyres, you'll need it. And a good pair of steel levers. You'll be pleased if you get it on at all, let alone line it up with the valve.

tyres went on easy keeping the bead in the centre then pumping till it pops into place - put sticker on front (the hope hoops one) but still unsure if it looks right

Still got my stickers in the cupboard, not sure what the crests are like for stans logos but the flows would look gash with hope wheel stickers also! Plus black bike, black wheels don't cheapen it! 😉

Non original stickers never look good. It's a universal constant.

Why does everybody struggle with crests and fitting tyres are your thumbs so weak or is your technique really bad. They are tight but not that hard to fit.

depends on tyres, I find schwalbes are extremely tight.

Bontrager XR2 s onto hope hoops crest had bleeding thumbs trying to get them on , did get them on eventually but would not seal , why well using cheap crappy levers I started gauging the rim tape in my desperation .
