hi im going to buy a new headset.....can someone please explain if i can use a hope normal, semi-intergrated or intergrated headset?......my current headset is an fsa orbit mx.......and is the mx intergrated?

what frame have you got? orbit mx looks like a normal headset.

Orbit MX is a std headset - hope STD headset will be fine 🙂

Which year as the older use Std the newer use semi-integrated like below?

The MX is a normal headset so the normal Hope one should fit and the stack height is a couple of mill less so steerer length will be ok as well.

It's make more sense to just replace the races in the FSA, the Hope ones are functionally pretty much identical (I've got an FSA MX in one bike and a Hope in the other)

nope. 09 whyte uses an integrated headset - it's pretty obvious on above pic (no lower cup visible)

Something not quite right here. Yes the piccie shows an integrated headset but the OP says his current headset is an Orbit MX which is a Standard Type headset?
