Hi All,
Haven't posted for a long time due to business getting in the way of cycling, but anyway, have treated myself to a new bike and also dusted the trusty epic off and am giving it a little TLC!
The Hope headset feels a little gritty and I was wondering what the best options are for replacement bearings? Just the normal Hope ones or should I get something better?

is this the recent Hope headset with replaceable bearings?
If so the SS ones fit, but the Hope ones are very good. I've had a Hope one on my commuter all winter and it's still smooth as you like.
Yes it is one of the newer hope ones with the sealed cartridge bearings. It has lasted well considering it's on my winter bike and gets an aggressive lazy hosing after most muddy rides, so I'm happy with the Hope ones but just though there may be a better option out there.
