Just got a pair of these delivered, one turns smoothly the other is properly notchy. Anyone else had this? Expecting to have to send them back, but was wondering if anyone has persevered and they've loosen up?

Shouldn't be like this, send them back before you use them. Then there is no chance of anyone quibbling. Mine were great out of the box.
Just emailed the shop and got a response within 2 mins (impressive Tweeks). They've asked me to give them a go, so that's me signed off to return them if they stay rubbish.
Notchy suggests the retaining nut is overtightend, or the tolerances is are out.
I just got a pair on my new five, they are tight (won't spin freely) but defo not notchy! The tightness I expect will ease once grease has moved about a bit
Should be able to use them tomorrow. Tried to get in to see if the nut needed backed off a bit - only to find a normal 8mm socket won't fit down the bore!
