I have the SS Tactic/Tesla combo and rate them.
Nice and light, wide enough at 23mm internal and quick engaging hubs....doddle to service and swap between axle standards too.
I can vouch for SS tactic on Tesla too. No issues since getting them last Oct. Easiest rims I've had for tubeless too (if a little tight)
My Tesla rear hub has died twice
My rear pro 2 EVO 40T has died 3 times so its horses for courses.
Tactic rims are mega weak.
Spokes pull through the rim, warrantied 1, had it happen immediately again.
Im not one for denting rims, but put several flat spots in mone.
I'm a biffer, and clumsy, and my Enduros are so far (6 months or so) up to the job.
Ive had tesla evo hubs for 6 months now, and despite reading quite a few horror stories anout failures before i bought them, they've been fine, noissues wo far
I did put a big dent in my Tactic rim (which required pliers/grips to straighten'ish), but not sure if that would have happened to other rims. I suspected it was me running too low a pressure and now add more - they have been fine since. £40 each is a very good price.
I'm a biffa and very clumsy and my hope enduros are still prefect. I like em.
