Need to bleed some Hope brakes and have found all of my kit except the cup thingy that screws onto the top cap.
I can't find anything on a quick search: I don't really want to buy a whole new kit, so does anyone know if you can get just the cup from anywhere...?
TIA

They didn't sell them separately last time I asked, but maybe do now?

OK, thanks sillyoldman, I'll give them a ring in the morning and see what they can help me with!

I just use the little screw on adapter with a short piece of hose and a syringe body.

howsyourdad1 - I tried a shimano one, and the thread felt different. With the shimano cup being plastic, I didn't want to force it and ruin it for when I want to do the other brakes!

tthew - good idea, I'll try that, I think...

You do know that with hopes you can just bleed them conventionally with a bit of tubing?

Thanks tj - I do, and I've tried that already, but they're still fairly crap and I wanted to use the easy bleed kit to make up for my inadequate bleed skills/techniques!

is it the bleed thats the issue ie a spongy lever - or is it excess travel which could be a sticky piston or the brake not centralised properly?

Definitely spongy lever.
It's my sons bike and we did an uplift day recently - the brakes needed sqeezing and pumping after every uplift by the end of the day, and that was after I'd bled them a day or two earlier!

As he says in the Hope video you don't need the easy bleed tool, and there is more than one way to bleed brakes.
