Doe anyone know where i can buy a hope screw tyep connector from? or alternatively I could use extension cable for a Hope light (the screw connector type as used on the HOPE Vision HID). Doesn't matter if one end is damaged or cable is cut as i only need one connector and about 20cm of cable. Does anyone have one?

I think their called hirschmann m8 connectors, google it or I know troutie uses them on his lights so you could try and get in touch with him.
