Hi!

Just got some Stealth Race Evo X2's, what lovely bits of kit!, to replace my hateful Avids.

What I was wondering though is can I use the spacer on my Scott Spark to mount the hopes on, for a 180 disc, or do I have to use hope specific ones?

Also, do I need 180 discs? I mainly do Xc, with the ocasional trail centre. Although I am 6'1" and about 90Kg so pretty hefty!

Cheers!

What spacer do you mean?

And 180 discs will be fine.

The spacer that spaces the calliper out from the fork. To allow for larger discs etc. Are they universal fit?

Is it currently running a 180mm disc? If yes then you should be okay. Might need to adjust the number of washers to get the right spacing.

If its running a 160mm disc then you'll need a new brake mount.
