Have a (minor) problem with my V2s. They often feel a bit spongey, and need a few pumps to firm them up (bike stored upside down). I gather there is some magic trick involving an elastic band on the lever and leaving it overnight, but can't find proper instructions on the web.
Can anyone enlighten me?
Cheers
Level off the levers so they are parallel with the ground. Take the top cap off. Squeeze the lever and secure. Come back in the morning. Fill up the reservoir in the morning...ride off.
Put the bike the right way up.
Tie the levers back to the bars.
Leave overnight.
Simple as that.
Have to do this with my rear v2 occassionally. Works a treat.
If you tie the levers back before you hang it upside down, you'll probably find that they don't go spongy in the first place.
Thanks a lot guys, just what I needed.
