Having pringled the disk last weekend on the hardtail I'm Looking to put an adapter on to increase to 180mm...but the only hope post - post adapter available seems to be for their 183mm disk. Can I get away with this?

You don;'t need a hope-specific adapter, any brand should do
Hope are doing 180mm discs now too, so if you did want to stick with Hope, there'll be one soon
ah ok so any brand post-post 180 mount would do for a hope X2 caliper?

Can't remember where I saw it, but pretty sure Hope recently said they were now producing a 180mm p-p mount named L-type.

I use shimano mount and caliper on mine
The Hope 160 PM to 180 PM adapter is available and marked 'L'
