I’m popping some hope v4s onto my orange four , removing sram guide rs
Front no problem but rear I want to run a 180mmm disc but the new v4 calliper fouls on the existing brake adaptor as the body of the calliper is obviously bigger
Any body tell me which brake adaptor is require for a 180mm disc ??
I think it’s an hbis20 ?? Any help greatly appreciated
If it's an IS 160mm mount, then HBMN will be what you need.
HBIS20 is an IS to IS mount, +20 - V4's are post mount, so you need the IS to post mount, +20.
Hope use 140mm as the IS standard I think, orange four is 160mm standard from a look at the website. So I think you need +20 to go to 180mm in a Hope adapter, which is the 160mm mount F.
Sounds wrong but 160mm is +20 which for your bike is what you need. Be easier if they all just used one standard.
My bike is 180 post rear, so to fit my 200mm discs I have a 180post adapter. Bloody confusing.
For IS frame = Hope adapter N 180mm hbmn.
Post mount frame = Hope adapter L 180mm hbml.
I’m with Robo89 it’s an N. IS is IS the name says it all (international standard)
Yeah defo N.
