Can they be swapped without removing the lever blade? Planned to move some coloured ones form old levers to new hoping to avoid a lot of dismantling - seems to be just removing a c-clip from the back, dropping it, searching for it on the floor for half an hour, and then refit?

Yep, exactly that.

I put a sandwich bag over the lever second time round however...

That bag idea might be a winner, as I have eight of the little buggers to remove and refit

Best intentions but everytime they pinged off in a different direction.
Like the left-hander at rounders.

Where are you getting the different adjusters please?

Just swapping form brake to brake, have some limited edition tech levers which have fancy colours, moving the adjusters to some Tech 3 levers from a knackered set of e4s

They are a total PITA, I've left the c-clips off a couple of mine, you can get coloured lever pivot pins for tech3 levers as well at sjscycles or slam69 for £2.50

I really hate those little c clips, and find it hard to get them off without causing any scratching to the back.
Anyone any tips or tool spec ?.
