I am struggling and hope the STW collective can help me. I have a Hope PF46 83 30mm short bottom bracket that i have just fitted to my DH bike.
I have a Truvativ Descendant chainset...its 30mm spindle and there is a threaded preload adjuster on the NDS side of the spindle. This preload adjuster fouls the outer of the BB when fitted. It prevents pedalling as the threaded preload adjuster isnt held off the NDS bearing by anything, and as such the threaded preload collar is in contact with the NDS BB shell.
Am i missing something? What have i done wrong?
