Hi chaps,

What's the spacing you need on a 73mm BB shell when using a GXP crank and a Hope BB with the GXP adapters?

Is it none? Or one 2.5mm spacer on the drive side?

Or... Something different!

Cheers!

Ricks

It change nothing on the spacing, just file a groove in so you can get them off easily if you need to

Ok, but - for a Hope BB with standard 24mm cranks that would be one 2.5mm spacer on the driveside.

For a 24mm GXP crank, with GXP BB that would be no spacers.

Which one do you mean?

I went with the 1 spacer (standard cranks) on my setup. GX eagle GPX cranks with boost chainring (and boost rear end of course). It’s been runn8ng fine since June.

It worked for me with the same spacerage as on a Shimano Hollowtech II type setup, so one on the DS for a 73mm shell. That is with SRAM GX cranks.

+1 for 1 on driveside, and another +1 for the notch
