Hope v4.
Then when/if they break you can pay for international freight for parts 😉
Are you already on the largest rotors you can find?
+20mm on rotors made a massive difference to my braking.
I have some 230mm rotors to go for my next uplift day. I'm looking forward to my eyeballs popping out when stopping 😄
Good way to avoid those trees!
I’m on 220mm Centrelines. Aware I can make some improvements going to a different rotor and pad, but I’d rather do the upgrade properly.
Paying nearly Trickstuff money for Hope just doesn’t make sense to me. If I wanted to spend Trickstuff money, I may as well get Maximas, can’t see the Hopes would be better.
Is there still a massive wait on trickstuff, err, stuff? Like a year or something?
longer than I'd be prepared to wait on a bike part.
IIRC you can’t order direct anymore, so huge waits aren’t technically a thing, you just have to set up alerts with the resellers and be ready to pounce when they come into stock.
If you have the opportunity to get some Maximas, take it.
Code Rs were not enough brake for average weight me on an enduro bike, let alone an eeb.
Have you ruled out Saints? They might be significantly cheaper and definitely have a lot more power.
Nothing against the niche brakes, it just sounds like a more mainstream option might be better where you are.
That’s it, there’s a couple of retailers with stock at the moment. So it is possible to get them reasonably quickly. Insane to think I can now get Maximas with less wait than Dominions…
Tom did you ever get a chance to test the Radics?
As for the Saints, these are available and a cheaper option. Probably an easier option but definitely less sexy than some of these options now!
Not yet no, they’re on the shortlist for the next bike though.
