Can anyone help and confirm what I need to do please with the hope 30mm bb and sram dub conversion

do the 2 supplied dub adapters replace the bearing covers that are already on the bb or do they go over the top of them?

it’s also Supplied with 3 2.5mm metal spacers but I’ve no idea where these go also?

any ideas please as I’d like get it setup for the weekend if possible

Hmm is it me or does that not really seem that clear?

it looks like the adapters just sit in the bearings themselves? Then one metal spacer just sits on the outside of the drive side floating on the axle?

Yup

Drive side

Bearing > top cap > 2mm spacer (mtb) > crank

I did add one spacer on drive side BB before bearing cup to make my chainline better

I read that as ditch the 30mm bearing covers, put the dub adapters in their place and then the 2mm spacer on the drive side

EDIT - Beaten to it.

EDIT - dawdling and making a brew while posting means I'm beaten by several more useful posts. I'll leave it anyway

Fit the bottom bracket, slide the adaptors onto the crank axle (they'll sit outboard of the BB cups). The spacers will then replace the spacers you had on the DUB BB it's replacing. I can't find fitting instructions, but I imagine the spacers are slightly thinner than the standard, to correct the spacing.

Diagrams here may help - https://www.18bikes.co.uk/hope-dub-bottom-bracket-conversion.html

Brill thanks folks - so to triple confirm the spacer for mtb that sits on drive side axle is the thicker silver one supplied not one of the 3 black ones? The silver one looks slightly smaller height wise so I’m guessing that is the 2mm one

look at the pdf I linked to on the black page at top the items in pack are all labeled.

2 x 2.5mm for PF

2mm for MTB

1mm for road
