Has anyone figured out how to ride in the dark and rain?
Hood under the helmet.
Wet head.

Think I heard Steve Lamacq play them earlier

Road or simple trail I’d say bar light only. The helmet light just gives you the hyperspace effect anyway.
if you’re actually doing single track/tech that needs 2 lights, I’d recommend staying home until it stops raining tbh.

Agree about the hyperspace effect with a helmet light.
Perfectly fine to ride off road with just a bar light though. Can turn the headlight on if you have to stop and the bears, wolves and serial killers start approaching
Have to disagree with you guys about bar light only. If I had to have only one light, on any decently technical trail at night, it would be a helmet light for me.

Unless it's raining
Had a stroke of luck last night with my helmet/light/hood interface
I generally wear a Fox Dropframe and my helmet light is a Joystick. Due to the size/positions of the holes, I've found this being the best place to mount it.

Put my hood up on my MT500 last night and it tightened up nicely when I did the zip up to my chin, with the front edge of the hood just sitting nicely behind the joystick. I'll get a proper pic of how it sits when I'm at home
