I've made these as a temporary adapter whilst looking for a manufactured one. Bolts are long enough and tight, the aluminium spacers are cut square and the inside walls are thick. How safe is this?

I guess its about as safe as using spacers and longer bolts on cars... They don't do it on track cars, they use special spacers as the bolts can snap.

Should be fine. Unless it isn't. Then you will crash.
