Ok, so having read a bit about the Pennine bridleway, I want to bikepack it on my day one alfine. I have already started making a frame bag, but I need a solution for attaching my tent to my seatpost, don't really want a rack. Any home brew ideas out there?

Anyone fancy riding the whole thing in two days?

Sweet! That's a quick reply, thanks. Just exactly the sort of thing I was after.

Just use a waterproof bag and some straps, I wouldn't go to the bother of making the alpkit saddle bag.

The alpkit dry bags with the wee tabs on them are ideal. There is a loop right at the end, which you can slide yer seat post down through, ant then a couple of straps around the bag and saddle rails.

And there is toughened fabric at the tabs/loops as well. Nine quid for the 20l one is great.
