You don't need to be an 'investor' to invest in Singletrack: 6 days left: 95% of target - Find out more
Getting into Holyhead at about 10am so will have a few hours to divert for a spin somewhere on the way to the Dyfi. Rode CYB the last time, wasn't a huge fan of the trails we did there, seemed to be random patches of unthought out rock thrown into flowy sections, just to make it more 'tech'. Seemed to be the theme there. I preferred it in the late 90's and early naughties..
Anyway, maybe it was just the loops we did there. But we're open to suggestions, apart from hike a bike up Snowdon or anything daft like that.
Cheers!!
How about Marin trail or Penmachno, which are North and South of Betws y Coed .
Stwlan Dam near Blanau Ffestiniog
Bwlch Y Groes (from Bala, Lake Vernwy, or the monster from Dinas Mawddwy)
Hirnant Pass near Bala
Ffordd Pen Llech in Harlech (steepest road in the world)
Arthog near Fairbourne, to climb up to around Gwennan Lake close to route up Cadet Idris
Etc.
Such a great area for road riding!
Turn right at penrhyndeudraeth over Pont briwet and head for Pont Scethin?
Do a half day at Antur,no wind today so you'll have a blast.
Call them,it's quiet on a friday.

I would recommend this as well, probably the Marin over Penmachno though.
Cool! Where is the Marin trail? Park in same place as Penmancho or completely different?
Here is the Marin trail-got a carpark and there also a tea room by the river/bridge for afterwards .
Isn't the marin four fire road climbs and a shit trail through an sssi?
Macho repeatedly for me.

Yep I remember it being the most underwhelming trail centre I had the misfortune to ride
