Anyone know what it's like in the area - frozen solid, or slushy boggy mess? Worth riding, or better to stay at home and watch paint dry?

Yep. Went out on Tuesday which was fun as it was still snow but now its melting its just slush and mud.

slushy, boggy mess. It's all pretty much melted apart from in the deep shade, and the forecast is to stay above zero tomorrow

I was out there this morning (Holmbury hill). Was great, about 1-2 inches of soft snow. Really cold but beautiful.
